Event Location

Venue

EAMTA and CAE 2026 will be held at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Tecnología (FACET) of the Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, located at its central campus on Avenida Independencia 1800 in San Miguel de Tucumán. This campus is situated close to the city center and can be easily accessed by car and public transportation, making it a convenient venue for conference attendees.

Due to its proximity and easy access, staying in hotels located in the downtown area of San Miguel de Tucumán is highly recommended, as travel to the campus is short and straightforward. This allows participants to comfortably attend conference activities while also enjoying the city’s commercial areas, restaurants, and cultural attractions.

For meals during the conference, the organizing committee has negotiated an affordable executive menu at the bar/restaurant located on the Faculty of Engineering campus, with prices around ARS 7,000. In addition to this venue, there are three other restaurants available on the same campus.

Most activities take place in building 1 and auditorium A2 next to it on the map. Only some courses are taught in building 3. (See the distribution of classrooms by course on the main page).

Public Transportation

The campus can be reached from downtown via Av. Independencia using bus lines 17, 18, and 19 (also used to return to the city center). Another option is to take lines 12 or 121 to Av. Roca & Pellegrini, then walk through the university campus toward Av. Independencia; for the return via Av. Roca you can use 9, 12, or 121. Bus fares are typically paid using the SUBE card. Routes and trip planning can be consulted on TucuBondi.
